Parent Society:
The Society for the Advancement of Environmental
Sciences was established in 1986. This Society was established
by devoted professionals in the multidisciplinary field of environment
in the year 1986 to provide an authentic forum for harnessing the
emerging science of environment and engineering technology which
creates public awareness through scientific information and experimentation.
The society has created a center of excellence,
“Environmental Research Laboratory” at Lucknow to undertake
research and developmental work under various sponsored programs/schemes
and provides core facility to the development of innovative experimental
models to suit the need of the sponsor and undertake monitoring
programs.
The society is also engaged in generating eco-friendly
technologies in the area of water purification, detoxification,
pollution abatement and utilization of natural resources as alternatives
to expensive and questionable chemical treatments in various areas.
The society has accomplished about 36 projects
sponsored by various scientific and other agencies. The Society
has worked for various Government and Non Govt. organizations both
in India and abroad and shall be using its goodwill and resource
for the placement of its meritorious students passing out from MCSCET. |
